Please note the following terms and conditions for hiring our items:
Hire Period:
- All items are for hire only, except for balloons, unless otherwise agreed in advance. Printable or personalised items may be kept by the customer.
- The hire period should be agreed in advance. If you need to keep the items for a longer time, please discuss this with us before booking.
- If your event ends after 10pm, there will be an extra charge for pick-up during later hours.
Weather conditions:
- Our items are not suitable for use in heavy rain or strong winds. If it's expected to rain on the day of your event, we suggest holding the event indoors or in a marquee.
- We recommend that balloons are not kept out in direct sunlight or on hot days, as this may affect their lifespan (heat and sun will cause them to pop quite quickly). The best location for our balloons is in a marquee or in the shade.
Booking:
- A booking fee, starting from £200 depending on the total cost of the event and items hired, is required to secure your event date. No date can be held for you without a booking fee.
- The booking fee will be deducted from the final balance, which must be paid in full two weeks prior to your event date. If the full balance is not paid, your event will be cancelled, and the booking fee will be kept to cover costs.
- If you cancel your event, the booking fee is non-refundable. However, we will try to change the date if availability permits.
Cancellations:
- If you cancel your event after paying the booking fee, the fee is non-refundable and will be used to cover our costs.
- If you cancel your event after paying the full balance, no refund can be given. However, we will change the date if availability permits.
- Please note that venues booked by us have their own terms and conditions and are usually non-refundable once booked.
Date Changes
- One date change is permitted per booking. This will be subject to availability.
Damage deposit:
- A damage deposit starting from £200 depending on the cost of the event and items hired will be taken before the event. The deposit will be returned within 7 days after the event, provided that no damage has been made to our equipment.
- If there are missing items or if damage to our equipment exceeds the damage deposit, you will be required to pay the full amount to replace the items.
